Getting back into Land Warrior!

Well I decided to put Land Warrior back on my pc and have I ever enjoyed going back to this game!

I still think it's one of the best games Nova ever produced and there is a great community spirit amongst the guys and gals who play this game.

Having said that I think there has always be a very strong sense of community amongst all Delta Force gamers no matter what title they happen to be playing on!!!!

make sure you try Arctic Wolfs SP maps, hes tweaked the AI so well now ... there the hardest SP maps availiable, hetweaked the .mis/.bms file to the extent you cant in the editor....

lw is the best game, i play it with some friends, i havent taken it off my machine for ages but i only ever play it like twice a month lol

I really had forgot how good Land Warior was and some of the coop maps I've played on are superb....well done to all the map makers out there!!!!!

Guys I know I'm going on about this but Land Warrior coop maps are some of the best maps I've ever played on and me and a few friends have had a great time trying to complete them, epsecially the excellent tunnel maps!!!!

I mainly play TFD and BHD...LW was great but never really got into it personally. Anyone play TFD?

I might just get around to putting TFD back on my PC but for now it's, Call of Duty United Offensive all the way lol lol!!!!

I recommend the Team Havoc server.
I think its the most bussiest server in LW.
Good ol hardcore CQB DM maps, which FoT loves to play

I actually quit playing for two years before reinstalling DFLW . It is still enjoyable but several things have changed. Most noticeably is the dearth of DM servers. As Outsider mentioned "Team Havoc" is a good one. Schumk's maps & Shrapnel's are virtually the only other cqb servers worth visiting. Slim pickins after that.
Finally purchased BHD but have only played it a few times. There is a striking difference between DFLW and BHD. Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems BHD is an attempt to put more reality into the game. No more 360 degree jump spins off buildings firing AT's and making several kills before landing. Personally, the surreal parts of DFLW are what appeal to me.
