map linking tricks
Is it possible to join scenarios together in the form of a 3 stage campaign ie. mission completes and you are transported to a different terrain and location in the same build?

I'm not sure for DFX2. In DF2 you could create a series of maps and then create your own campaign that other players could download and place in to their DF2 folder. It did override the original campaign though.

Should work don't you think? My I have the routine? Send me a private spout for perusal. Iterations of the game allow experimentation..can be confusing...just have to document whata da u doo! Bustin you are a very smartish laddie I not?

mission linking: in DFX1/2 or BHD? put an area trigger at your x-fil point, the place where you wanna leave the mission, right click the area trigger to the details in the box bottom right tick and put in your next .mis name, keep it very short.
So you enter the area trigger map closes then opens next 'level' or mission it's my way of beating the 1200 item limit, or/and moving the story along. "M" |
