Parts for a laptop

What's the best place? I need a Mobo for my laptop.

Best place for that is to buy a new laptop. You most likely will not find a laptop mb that will fit into your laptops case..

most laptop are made for a one type of MOB. like Scott said you are better off buying another one.

you could try to call the tech support of you laptop to see if they have a better MOB for the laptop housing to work in it. that would fit it right. they would know that asker.

Past warranty. Damn laptop is defective. VG card fries after 14 months in each case. HP won't admit it either. There's a class action suite on this.

Freaking integrated VG card fries and then MOBO goes. I might try to replace MOBO have to find a place to get it first though ... I hear it's for $300

Wooohooo! Used my second Laptop's power cord. Old one working. VG card is screwed for sure

Usually different models will have different shaped boards.
Even if you find another model which will fit, the chances are that the connectors on the board will be in different locations.

To squeez everything into a small laptop, they make some very strange shaped boards.

Woohoo update! Working seemlessly with heat sink and fans under it. I did a complete software restore and the lines on the screen also gone. Plus it has 17" display area.
