I have problems with it tho, makes me insain!!

I had JO:TR and JO:E installed with NILE when I installed DF:X

After I installed DF:X I tryed to install NILE from the same cd, and it said that I already had it on my computer and that I needed to uninstall it before I install this vesion of NILE??

Well ok.. .It's Nova whos behind this game so I was'nt supprised. I uninstalled NILE, and installed the new NILE from the cd plus updated it. After that I reboted my machine and started up NILE from my desktop. Guess what... .it still JO-NILE!!! WTF No-Logic at all huh.

STILL SAME PROBLEM!!! NOW IM GETTING A BIG WHISKEY THEN IM UNINSTALLING ALL NOVA GAMES PLUS NILE!!!

Try uninstalling it and then delete the NILE folder if there is one.

Like I said.. .and yes, I have also deleted the folder. I think the problem is that I have JointOperation and the expansion plus Xtreme installed... .I bet It works if I remove all other Novalogic products!!

Anyone know whats up with the help ? Seems a little incomplete or vague. Overall though its very nice compared the regular MED for BHD

Point NILE to your DFX game. No need to delete anything.

Open nile. Goto FILE/PREFERENCES/Set recourse directory
Then browse to your DFX folder. Hit OK!

Its should work.

I removed JO:TR, JO:E and JO-NILE. Then installed DFX-NILE.. ..now it works! haha Nova

Where did you get NILE from???

It comes with the game insert the CD the start up installer has an option to install it.......

Does anyone know of an actual help file for this? I have seen a few limited ones but nothing very substantial.

Thanks but I found it somewhere else. My copy had defected Nile on it.

I believe there's detailed Nile info on NW under "DF:X Mapping Forum"

Edit: It's under "Joint Ops: NILE + Map Forum" now.
