I voted yes. I honestly can say that i will enter all the ones that come up, but i agree its part of a gfx community and at this point we dont have to many regulars so also a no..

voted no, coz personally i never bother with em. ive entered here a few times in the past and won once, won a few times elsewhere too, but to be honest, wen i DO make sigs, i make them for me, so i'd rather not enter them into a comp to find out people dont like it lol. just make em for me and thats it =)

I voted yes because it was good fun when people entered, and i agree with steve, there wasnt many people entering, but was just wondering, u could try a sig of the month, surely people would see it long enough to give it a try. Just hope that people will enter sotw and not close down if it does come back.

I cant see it opening back up any time soon, although obviously well take a look at any suggestions...

Steve tried it, i tried it and tril tried and it just didnt happen, for the most part the only weeks any decent number of entries were recieved was the open weeks, which got boring, even then less than 5 entries made it less a competition than a game of chance.

What with that and the expectation of us to be the sig police with reagrds to ripping, the questioning of the egotisitcal sig makers who got pissed off when they lost and such meant that we got tired of trying to run and improve a competition that wasnt working in the first place...

It would seem to me anyway that these sig battles have taken over the role of the SOTW and have been marginally more sucessful so id be more inclined to get some more of tose happening, you have to remember that fundamentally the gfx section is a supporting role here at novahq, the majority of members arent here for the GFX....
