PS3 is a 'sinking ship

Citing yesterdays disappointing November hardware sales, CNNMoney has called the Sony PlayStation 3 a "sinking ship."

The numbers show that the PS3 sold 19 percent less consoles year-on-year from the same period in 2007, and CNNMoney believes that a substantial price cut is necessary if the console wants to see a growth in sales anytime soon.

After being outsold 840,000 to 380,000 for the month by its main rival the Xbox 360, many analysts have agreed that a price cut is necessary before the console falls behind by an "insurmountable margin."

well i bought one and i think its miles better than the 360 (i own both so i can comment on what 1 i think is better lol) there still limited games for the ps3 but it just needs time

i think the PS3 is fairly priced at the min.. considering the hardware, free ps network, blu ray player etc etc..

but the current economic crisis isnt exactly helping sales, as people aren't willing to spend as much as they used to and are picking the cheaper option for xmas

I got a Ps3 at launch, sold it on Ebay for $2,600, then bought a new one a couple months later. Win.

Yeah like BB said, considering it has blu-ray and all the other things that you have to buy as extras on the 360, i think its a fair price.

yet i got a PS3, i would say i love the free Internet play and the blue ray player with it, and i am also looking foward to all the titles that are suppose to be coming out soon, but personally i have played the XBox 360 and i didn't really like it, I was never an Xbox fan but that is just me, also a Playstation fan, i own all 3 Playstations that came out lol

i've got a 360, and i was going to get a ps3, but i'm a halo fan too, and since thats only for 360, and because my pc sux (its for pc too), i had too, and i like it a lot better my friend has fallout 3 for ps3 and everytime he goes to save the game, it freezes, and its not the games problem either (fail)
