Working on some modifications

Hello all. This is really my first post here. Ive been playing the Delta Force series since the demo of Delta Force 1 was released, ive played all the games and done extensive map making work in the past, particularly with DF2 and TFD. I enjoy BHD:TS and BOEXP, they are both great. I think BOEXP is a great mod. BOEXPFC adds some awesome weapons, especially the SiG552 and XM-8.

I downloaded a .pff extractor a few weeks ago, and ive started dabbling into the graphics and sound files, doing some edits. Ive tried to improve the realism of things, to make the game look and sound more realistic as much as i can... I plan to continue work, and sometime tommorow i will probably e-mail the Black Ops/UMF team and see if they would like to use any of my edits in the next update of their mod. So basically i will show what modifications i have made so far:

Night Time/ Urban camo For Mp-5 armed Delta Force operatives:

Desert Painted M4 SOPMOD

Desert Painted Uparmored HMWWV

Another mod i have done is to the camo on the desert outfitted Delta Force Operatives. Im not sure if you guys are aware of this, but as of last week the US Army has officially begun adopting a new digital camoflauge pattern and BDU called ACU, or Army Combat Uniform. Its comparable to CADPAT or MARPAT, but instead of having seperate patterns for desert or woodland, it has only one pattern, that works (in theory) in all sorts of environments.

The real thing:

In Game:

It looks a bit blurry in the screens, but its far better looking in game.

Ive also changed some of the sound assignments or edited sounds for realism. Ive also changed the type of scope on the M4 SOPMOD from an ACOG 4x to the scope that is actually showed on the gun in the game- an M68 aimpoint.

Ive changed the sight on the XM-8 to a red dot as well, as the real XM-8 will have a Reddot sight as well as a 4x magnifier.

I just thought id share what ive done so far, if anyone wants to help or wants more info, feel free to add your input.

Looks nice. Good work

However, I would ditch the pink windows on the Hummers. LOL

yeah, im still working on the window coloring... im trying to get sort of an amber color... Black in the default hummers isnt right, its more of a bluish-purple color ni the newer humvees because of the thicker glass.
