You guys just love chewing up our bandwidth with that bhd demo don't you? This seems to be one of the only resource sites that is hosting it besides df-inside. Over 700 downloads in 1 1/2 days x 110 Megs a piece = a lot of bandwidth! Right around 50 gigs. I haven't herd many comments on it though (except that spawn timer sucks, and it does), what do you think about the new ctf? has game play improved? Marcus said they changed the net code to reduce the lag, does the new net code help? Just want to get some more peoples opinions.

And for squad forums. We have reached our limit. We are now hosting 20 active squad forums! I'm sure we can go even higher, but we are going to wait it out and see how they go for awhile. It's hard keeping track of them all . If you still would like a squad forum, email me and I will notify you in about 1 week if we will install more or not.

Maps, I will try to update them tomorrow, but with Christmas and all the shopping (I haven't bought any gifts yet! ) they may have to wait till Monday or Tuesday.

yup, only a few sites are hosting it.... DFHQ, DFi, and DFA all have it..... too bad DFBarracks isn't on Marcus's mailing list.... i still haven't figured out why yet .

I LOVE the Beta Test - its aweseome.

Hey Panther, I have dont up a webpage with ss's and stuff on it - just gotta upload it to my webspace (its 2mb, and im on 56k) when I get it up, I will release a link.

The lag has improved - I have noticed, but the only lag i get is a ci every now and again - and I dont like being punted after I get them (they punt you if your ping is too high)

I love everything else about it. A lot of ppl who werent all that impressed with the demo are hooked on this!

Go have a look, the whole page is about 2 mb to load, theres SS's of almost all the new stuff, as well as a little flash movie (30 ss's combined) on the armoury.

Its worth looking at if you havent got the Beta. It also has my oppinions and stuff.

I never got around to dling this demo because I got into BF1942 which also has a spawn timer.

Im getting a feel for why NL takes so long to release a game.

As soon as something comes out with a new idea, NL stops and adds that idea to its game.

Watch out if Doom3 makes it out before BHD.
