Yahoo Messager Issue

Anyone having issues yahoo sucking up RAM? I've 383MB RAM. Before I start YIM, Performance is 65%. After YIM is turned on 40%!! What's with that?

Specs:
OS: ME (Has latest and greatest updates)
RAM: 383 MB
Processor: Intel P4 933 Mhz
HDD: 60 GB

to little ram ...dont blame yahoo ..i got 1gig ddr ram and mines ok :P spend some dosh and see the difference

most stay away from yahoo, do to it like to eat a lot ram. Icq is all so bad but to when it come to using the system ram.

AOL,MSN, are not so bad if the use the newest virsion.

sorry not much can be don't about it, if you go into the option area and disable a lot of things it would use less system ram.

Yahoo profile option disable some things in it. sorry to say Yahoo is not one of the best on the internet. to me it has too much trash in it.

you can boost up your page file to use as ram in your system.

when you run out of ram the system will use the page file as ram
