What I am trying to do is create the same session that invisionboard creates so that when the user logs in they will be logged in on both places.

lol ^^ it's simple ... most forums have a built in function...what i was saying is display the login form that goes to your forum, logs in...and if they don't have the username guest or whatver allow them onto restricted parts
i dunno, hard to explain. what i've done with phpbb i don't kkonw totaly bout ib... |

in vbulletin its easy... just include the global, and u got thelogin part working. So find out where they do it... and include that part in your own code.

we got it to work.
