NovaHQ Sig Rules
There is no set limit to sig size and weight,
but if novahq thinks that your sig is to much you will
be asked to change it, we have to take into account
56kers so unless your sig is huge beyond belief
more than likely it's ok to use here.

what we like:

less than 100KB, and really that is a lot.
less then 600 pixels in width,
please remember they are sigs not wallpapers

There are hundreds of fonts sites out there with thousands of fonts that differ from each other. Although the choice you get from having a thousand fonts on your computer seems a good idea, it is totally impractical. You will become very undecisive, your work will take longer and your graphics program may take longer to load. It is much better to pick several from each style and work with those.

Most Fonts will come in a zip file, so unzip them to a new folder
Go to your Control Panel in Windows.
You should see an icon with text that says 'Fonts'
Double click it
Then go to File > Install new fonts
Then browse and find the fonts that you inzipped
Click OK

now the fonts you downloaded will work in your software packages such as the MS Office suite and all your GFX proggies

1. make / obtain a sig.

2. it needs to be put on a website so that the forum knows where to look for it. i.e. it needs a URL such as http://www.yourwebsite/afolder/yoursiggypic.jpg

3. click on 'user cp' which is at the top of the screen.

4. click on 'edit profile'.

5. there is a box where you type in whatever you would like to appear at the bottom of every message.

6. to put your sig @ the bottom of every message type
[* img]http://www.yoursite/afolder/yourpic.jpg[* /img]

just dont put in the '*'

This free 3d animation software provides brilliant functions in modeling as well in 3d animation where it is compiled into one program rather than an install package, which is for free. This is one of the best programs to start of with an easy learning curve. The file size of this program is around 1mb.

This is best aimed for animation or physics than modeling with not very good features in modeling as well as sub diving. This is the free version of the popular 3ds max™ series where it provides stripped down parts of it that can create good models however you can’t export them to other formats very easily as well as importing without skewering the net for the plugins. As well it has a terrible renderer. This software is recommend before you buy 3ds max™and gives you of a small taster of what is to come. The file size for this is around 20mb + 16mb for tutorials, examples.

This software is open source meaning you can edit it if you want. As well it provides interactive facilities in the older version but it has good modeling and animation facilities for you. This though has a very high learning curve and is recommended between the intermediate and the advanced user. The file size of for this is around 5mb.

This is a very good modeling package and provides good functionality with a variety of import and export file types. However this doesn’t have any animation functions which is still in developed as an open source project. However is recommended for all the groups from beginners to advance users where it is quite hard to learn but still easy to use. The file size is for this is around 3mb.
