Special Characters and Symbols for Player Name

Here is a question for everybody, there are a lot of players in DF that use some special characters in their names, such as: §, ®, » and etc., and I've been trying to use them in my name but I can't, it won't let me use dif. characters, but I have been able to use them in other games, its just that I haven't been able to find out how to use them in my name in DFBHDTS, so my question is, how can i get to put these characters in my name? because I've already tryed to copy and paste from the character map in windows xp, but it doesn't work, can any1 tell me how plz? all help would be aprecite!! thnx!. The game I want to use them in, is Delta Force Black Hawk Down Team Sabre, multiplayer mode.
This is acctually the name I want to have: ‹[۰Uc۰]› -۰¤کђяєĸ¤۰- (Shrek), and if I have to make some changes to make it work, its ok, but I want to keep to closest idea as possible!

You also have to by pass novaworld log in.

novaworld doesn't allow those special characters in the official servers. You have to set up your name in Player Info in bhd.

I tried doing an edit like that once! But! It could not find a certain file in my Windows directory. I tried extracting the the game folder. I am not downloading any files though. When I put diffrent characters it feels I am in a whole new dimension. Must be the beef! Hehe!

There is got to be a way!!, how come there is a ton of players that have'em? thanks Steve for your prompt response, it worked for me, but only in single player mode, how can I do it also in mutliplayer mode?

don't log-in to novaworld at all, use the by pass option then they will work.

Novaworld block them from being use in there server and any other when you log-in.

so don't log-in then you can use them in other server by pass area.

Thanks bud, I did what you said, but when I picked a server or game to play, it took me to the login area, and said I can't use the servers unless I login, plz give me more suggestions bro!

in the log-in area, down near the center or bottom of the page it says "By pass login" or something to that effect.

You won't be able to play in official novaworld servers using your hexed name.

here the shortcut to that file you could not find in your system Chris.

basic you unzip it and place it on your desktop then open it select the font charters you like to use. then for the game use a name editor like Name Editor (each game has it own name editor to use for it,

you copy from the Character_Map> then past it into the name editor> save.

you can use copy & past option windows default key shortcuts
copy from the Character_Map then Ctrll+ V (highlite the area to past it into) you can past it in or right click to do it.

Windows keys shortcuts:

highlite the area you like to copy from or past into (1x click).
copy: Ctrl + C
Past: Ctrl + V

you can find the shortcut in:
Start>programs files>Accessories>System Tools>Character Map-shortcut.

most of the time it be list not always there all so can find it in:
C:\WINDOWS\system32 "charmap.exe"

Yea i made this tutorial for the AN Name Editor a few weeks ago cause many were asking how to use it in servers i gamed in!
