Cool BB
Hey guys I found this BB which is really nice and is better than XMB and Invision.
The BB is called SMF for SIMPLE Machine Forum. It has a ton of functionality too. http://www.simplemachines.org/

what else is nice is that they provide a php file that you can use to integrate your site with the forum.
I'm planning on using it when I get my new squad site done. IcI |

I hope the templates are as easy to mod as I think they are.

BTW they DO have converter scripts from pretty much any bulliten board that is widely used. That's a major ++++++++++++++

I haven't tried making my own templates, but the templates can be as simple as a css file.
Check out http://commandoselite.com/demo/smf/index.php?board=2.0 All that is is a CSS file. An other feature I like is that each board can have it's own template ![]() |

Yeah that is cool.
I think it is better than Vbulliten and Invision. They really did their research to make it customizible.

I love it. So far it has been no problem at all.
I just transfered all of our Invision posts over with no problem.

Have you checked out the Package manager atholon?
for some reason it doesn't seem to work on my demo forum (I think it is an ftp issue..) But it will automatically install mods and modify the needed files for you (default theme only ![]() ![]() |

Ohh yah. PHPBB has something like that. I have not messed with it though because so far it already has what I need.
