PC Cillin Help

Ok ive been wondering a long time since some viruses arent quaritened if a virus on PC Cillin Virus Scanner detects a virus and it says "Action Failed" does that mean it was blocked or does it mean its on my system but cannot hurt me!!! I scanned and found some cab files infected!!!

if you can't move it then delete the virus, i have it and Avast! 4.6 running i only use one to handle the e-mail account PC Cillin it don't do 100% but it do a deeper scan in the system.

do a deepscan if you can do it in safemod F8 at rebootup. most virus don't work at all in safemod many items do loadup most anti-virus programs will run in safemod.

if your system like my you see at bootup your grafic-card info then a new text come up MFG-Pc name and keybroad & mouse info at this time start pressing the F8 Key then go to Safemod/desktop then start it up the Anti-virus program do a deepscan

my self i delete all viruses if i can't i move it to cheat then.

be help full if you could name the virus so we can dig up info for you.

delete body of virus in e-mail is my top pick, you can get virus from web too

Those look like some, monkey buisness sites(if you catch my drift) that have been sent to you. Or it just has a dodgey name, anywho, action failed usaly means it cant delete it. Thats what i would of thought anyway
Usaly if something like that cant delete it, that chances are that its put its self in a system folder that any item thats in there cant be deleted, although you can put anything in there.
Look on steves software list for some good anti-virus and v-scan programs

you can use more then one Anti-virus program only disable one of them to handle the e-mail OK or they will lockup, avast! will forward all e-mail using Outlook to their server tobe scan then it send to your outlook, pop3 acct may block it but http e-mail acct will let it do it as in Hotmail & MSN think AOL will to.

i use another virus program to handle my e-mail and Avast! to cover the rest of the system, it even cover web site (URL) i go to and stop virus from being loaded into my system and cover P2P and All type of Massager's service out there.

it safe guard your system from all type of crap there is online it anew they remade it. not the same old thing in the pass in some ways it have many of the option as Spybot - Search & Destroy tree do but more. i don't run it all the time my self once a week i check my system with it use a lot of resource but it really good.

Mcafee 9.0 comes with Spy Ware killer and lots of other cool features and for me i have caught every virus But the one tricky one But thanks to Steve that one has been taken care of it really dont cost much either

Ive used this program alot thats the best i think Spybot but one thing is it wont pickup anby of the trojans my PC Cillin Virus Scanner does ive used MC Afee before and PC Cillin is good its just some weird reason also here lately i think im getting hti by those love or porn viruses on the threats list i get forwards from people so im trying to think of the rule i wanna make for those messages. I have to make a good choice or it might delete someones email to me i know!!! Im gonna find out whose ip that was that signed me up for all that or whos forwarding it i belive its a virus thats getting on some peoples email address books the bad kind i hate those and they send emails to everyone on there list!!!

No i may have to go to a website and get rid of them a certain way without screwing anything up!!!

What do ya mean turn the virus scanner completely off i musing or run both at same time!!!

I mean if i had a good site to scan online that would clean my system and fix those viruses that cant be deleted it would be real good!! It kinda makes me confused when i use 2 virus scanners.

mostly i reply back to sender of the e-mail let them know of it. had some think it was all a joke it never happen and some really thank me for pointing it out to them so they check it and did find it was in thier system. most people will never know they sent a e-mail the virus is smart and auto-send it out in the back ground without the user knowing of it. leech on the address book or it will generate a fack e-mail address.

Yea only bad part is when you reply and they meant to send it cause i have over 20 different emails 20 new ones everyday sending me that crap!!!
