ok..i play BHD when i go on to another map my hand ( which is holding the gun) is gone not there and then it crashes to my desk top and a programme error comes on

yup, reinstall and it should be fine. if u still get the problem... it could be to do with custom maps, we had that problem with the tin server once... certain custom maps conflicted with certain peoples computers for some reason

1.) un-instill it.
2.) Save "name.sav" file if you like
3.) delete the game folder with any maps you may have added to it too.
4.) restart the compurter
5.) back to desktop instill it back in, If you have DF: BHD/Team Sabre instill it too, let it update DF:BHD as it instill,
6.) use the right update for the game if it only DF:BHD then use it update, if you added-in Team Sabre use it update and not the stander update of BHD.
7.) when finish go to the game folder inside it lookup "Update.exe" (be connected to the internet) open it up, let it search for any files that you game may need. i found some times 1-2 files still needed tobe instill.
8.) after go play the game.

you should have DX 8.1-9.0c instill and your GFX-Card updated for this game.
go to windows update site see if there any updates it needs, some time they have newer drivers and fix's there for you besides security updates.

some times a person has added a new map not knowing it a moded map can give you a system system dump and as will as the GFX-Card is not updated, and if a file is gone bad will do it too.

loading up a new map thats is a mod type map (without the mod added-in) it will do it.
joining a server that is hosting a new map that is from a mod will do it. this can happen a person go to a site see a map not all map makers list all the mods they have added to the game or were they can get the mods in a readme.txt. some reason they over look this. system dump big time.

ok....I REINSTALLED IT but..thats when it all went wrong i will try the advise...but 1st..can i delete it and see if that will work?? any ty all for saving my life ty ty ty

hey TIN OF was saying about deleting Custum maps how i do it??

did you even delete the game folder totally? if so then the Custum maps were all so deleted.
