i could always disable the post count in sigs and graphics and recalculate posts, im reasonabely sure that it would take a mjor step to stop the spamming apart from the initial questions about post counts.

It's not just coming from the "Sigs and Graphics" section, it comes from all parts of this forum, and im not even sure that disabling post counts would end it, it would just end the urge to be the top member, but then what fun would it be to work your way to the top if their wasnt a real way to do so. The worst case scenario is to issue a one week disabled post count for those who constantly abuse the rules and choose to spam. That way its fair to the others who dont spam and want to recieve their post counts, but also it teaches the spammers to knock it off and realize working your way to the top is much more rewarding instead of spamming your way to the top.

i don't understand why people spam, why does the amount of post count, does show you don't get off the computer that much, anyways, for sigs and graphics, people need to post back how they could make it look better, or if its good or not, that why people come here, to get cnc, not "will you marry me"

Ill agree to end the "STOP SPAMMING" phrase, if those few spammers coulds please keep it on topic and not post several posts in one topic when not needed. Its fine to say, "Great signature, or video i love it, great work." and be done with that topic. We dont need repitition posts, to tell the designer, or whoever great work in different ways.
i think sometimes a stop spamming is a great slap to the people spamming, but sometimes it gets annonying o ya posting a lot in a forum to multiple topics isn't spam as long as there legit posts ... just thought to clear that up.

I like the automattic ban on sight policy

For spammers and people that repeatedly accuse people of it.

Honsetly post counts don't matter that much.

Reason I post so much is because I am so freaking board at work.

Well I think that what you did to my posts should be a warning to others. I mean if people post some worthless crap and it gets erased then what is the point of posting it.

Maybe we could have some sort of guidling that tells you...I dunno.

Perhaps if more spam posts were erased, people would get a hint and stop spammin'. You could also make it so if someone posts about Spam complaining a lot then you just nuke the post.
