text effects - need advice

i made a sig, but im not convinced about the text...maybe the color, the effects.....took about 10 layers only for it and doesnt look good.....any advice??

make it more easy to read for one, and yes the text color should maybe match the sigs in some way

yep, the font i used really sucks, think i have to start to make my own, but, about the color, THIS is the problem, i i use a color which is on the background, it gets confused and unreadable, but if use another color (blue in this case) it looks crappy....i really dont know what color to use!!!

looks like you're trying too hard, keep it simple

the characters in your name dont really help it lol, but like steve said, try to keep it simple, sometimes simple white txt with one effect will do
