Of mice and cows

For the last few months here in Aussie, the government has put a stop to exporting live beef(cows) to Indonesia, cause they are really messy at butcher time...ugh!
So now we have a lot of cows wandering the farms, which means
there is a lot of food stored in the silos, and with some wet weather thrown in we are again about to hit plague proportions with mice, I mean BILLIONS of mice.

Last time this happened about 5 years ago, I was helping a friend shoot some of his stock, with a dozer he'd dig a pit, herd the cattle to a coral, shot the beast, within seconds of the beast being in the pit the mice were on the carcass....truly revolting.

This time my friend has built his own flame thrower, it sits on this porch, gassed up and ready for the invasion, I just hope he's got enough gas, even now he goes out at night time and it's like the earth is moving.
I'll post a video when available and I'm glad to be a townie, you just gotta be born a farmer

Man, that is scary. I just watched a HISTORY channel episode on the Black Plague.

It was started by the fleas from rats and mice. It wiped out 3/4 of Europes population !

You need to go into hiding, Mermite!

Report back to us in a couple of months (or years, lol ).
