what is the lowest temperature they can handle without going bad or get damage from freezing temperature's

My 47 inch LCD says op temp 0C - 40C, but I live in northern Australia where not the temp is the issue but the humidity, a bare metal plate has 10 times more rust on it after a week than say in the cooler south, thats why we gotta drink more beer than the south..................we don't wanna rust ...lol

we not much better off as you are, sea water in the air down here were I'm at ether.
i guess it get around 50f or 55f down here I'll turn the center heating unit on in the house *dang if i like to replace it if it gets to cold here old tube type monitor can handy super cold weather better lol thanks mermite
