EXP Terranova problem with TS Compatiablity
 

Hello there im new to this forum, but i was keeping this error message when launching an original executable bhd game with terra_02 mod and /d parameter:

"check items.def pre-allocation"
this happened again when i launch the mission for like 3 seconds then later i get similar error message "sysdump.txt saved".
Can anybody solve this problem?

Does it only happen with the mod installed? Is the game installed in your Program Files folder? What OS?

I didn't installed the game in Program files folder (to make my c: drive more space, i had to install games in my d: drive), i had Windows 7 with custom edition. it only happens with the mod installed (i mean Terra_02, looks okay with original terranova mod).

Also, i had Platinum Pack GOG version that will not work for 1920x1080 widescreen patch.

I've seen the "check items.def pre-allocation" error message. Some mods use the TIOCoop/NSO game .exe that allows the items.def to have more items in it than vanilla DFBHD. If you start the mod with an .exe that is not tweaked for more items, that error pops up.

If what Baldo says is accurate you can also try the exe from this mod:

Some of the exe files are encrypted or unsupported. However, using an original exe with the no cd patch should still work with the game. The Platinum Pack from GOG is just BHD with the TS mod already installed. You can use one of these exe files with the game and it should work fine (BHD or TS not the tnexp.exe):

Well ok... you promise that will not work with wsgf widecsreen fix (it only uses dlbhd.exe). Ehm

The download size is 954MB, that takes like 40 minutes on my 5MBPS internet.
But i tried the tnexp exectuable, but it says the game not supported with dll.

Rename the tnexp exe file to "dfbhd.exe" and try launching it.

Also, i was still getting sysdump.txt for no reason without items.def pre-allocation popup like what i said cause the game attempts to load the TS items. Thus, making the game unplayable on Team Sabre missions (oh im right, it won't load Iranian TS items -_-).

High, if it isn't a modified exe the /d argument should be changed to point to the mod folder and mod pff.

example
"Jointops.exe" /exp jox01

I don't know the name of the mod folder but it would look something like this
bhd.exe /Mod terra02

Maybe even like this to preserve the /d argument.
/Mod terra02 d

or /Mod terra02 /d

Nope, its not that but i just mean: The guy didn't respond of why I can't play iranian missions using terra_02?

AFIK BHDTS has the Patrol boats, BHD doesn't if that's of any importance.
