DID YOU KNOW JOGGING IS SELF-CENTERED?

The French are upset. I mean, it doesn't take much to upset a Frenchmen, but now they have their britches in a wad because ... their president likes to jog.

Isn't that terrible of the President? How dare he show physical exertion in public? It's blasphemy!

Apparently jogging, according to French society, is "un-French, right-wing and even a ploy to brainwash his citizens." Wow ... maybe I should have run the Peachtree Road Race – Think of how many people I could have brainwashed with my salivating "right-wing," "un-French" pace down Peachtree!

The French are suspicious that jogging is for self-centered individualists such as the Americans who popularized it. Did you get that folks? Now, if you want to throw on your jogging shoes, not only are you more American than ever, but you are also self-centered!

How can a country be so completely screwed up? Is it any wonder that the Germans go right through these people like brown sauce through a goose any time they get the urge to do so?

Now let me explain this to you. This is French logic, at its best. Actually, we are going to let Alain Finkelkraut 'splain it to you. And there you have it. Your body is not yours to control, got it? Yeah, try telling me that when I have a bowel movement I need to control ... is that un-French too?
