Anyone tried out the new phpbb3?
Anyone tried out the new phpbb3? It's awesome. At first I was going to pay for IPBB or vB, but PHPBB3 is surprisingly nice. So anyways, I'm just curious how many others have tired it and what they thought about it.

I have been testing it for a bit.. But the beta was a bitch to setup all the right user permissions and groups... Way to many options coming at ya...

I'll retry the thing when i have some time over tho...

Give ici's a try, for sure guys . When I get hosting I'll throw some up for people to try. If I had the money I would go for IPB and vB, but this is really good for a free board. It is a bit much however, I do agree about that.

www.phpbb.com has a full running of it, and with the traffic they get it's amazing it's still at the speed that it's at.

From what I read it's supposed to be easier, but I don't actually normally skin. Luckily, personally, I like the out-of-the-box skin.
