Far Cry!

Well I decided to play Far Cry again after completing the game, and I may add in my opinion it has a really lame ending, but that aside Far Cry is a truly outstanding game graphics wise and although the story line has been done before, I like the different ways you can completet the game.

I hope Far Cry 2 will be a better game story line wise, i.e. no silly monsters etc.

i never wanted to get the game cuz of the cheezy storyline etc and about BFV for me that is realllllly lagggy i play CoD which is awsome and Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory which is awsome im getting JO and planning on AAO

Yes the ending on it did suck, at least with the "monster" storyline you should have had special things you could do like jump like that one guy did.

I must say I didn't think it had monsters in it when I bought it. I was thinking it was like a drug cartel or something like that.

Yes it's great pity the "monsters" were introduced into the story line of Far Cry. It would have been much better to have taken on a drug cartel as has been said and had a major battle a the end of the game rather than fight your way through a pile of "mosters"!

I didnt mind the monsters but the last level was poo.
If you have to have ten goes before coming close to figuring out how to survive then the game becomes nothing more than trial and error and that is a rubbish way to play a game.

I have recently tried having another go from the start and it has a replay value of about 0. I played Deus Ex (the original) all the way through from the start a lot of times because the story and gameplay was genius.

Far Cry looks wonderful but the AI is not as good as it first seems and playing through the levels again is tedious, possibly because the story was weak.

However it is a game that needs to be played because it is the start of the next generation and every gamer should be able to say they were there when it began.

Has ANYONE enjoyed an online game for more than 5 minutes of this?
It is not the best internet gaming experience I have had I can tell you. (Although I beat the pants off the host muhaha!)

Your spot on about the ending of Far Cry ZZA as it really is a big let down. Far Cry does indeed look wonderful and is the beginning of a new generation of games we call look forward to. The online play for Far Cry leaves a lot to be desired in my humble opinion but we can all hope that Far Cry 2 will improve on this.

Yeah it is too bad I hope in Far Cry 2 they ditch the Montster theme. Online play is impossible on 56k it sucked bad.
