GeForce FX5700LE or Radeon 9550, which 1?

I'm planing on getting a new video card this week but am having a difficult time picking 1 out.

Right now I'm looking at these 2 both of which are around $120:

ATI RADEON 9550 Video Card (full specs here )

and

MSI nVidia GeForce FX5700LE (specs )

Which in your guys opinion would be the best?

Or is there an other one that would be better that is under $150?

Thanks,

IcI

I would suggest the Radeon. I love them I have a Geforce FX 5600 and it cannot measure up to my friend's ATi Radeon 9600.

Well, I decided to go with the ATI Radeon 9550. It has been ordered, processed and shipped (It is amazing how fast compusa processes their orders).

Thanks for you input.

#1 card of the two companies is Ati X800 there was one I saw that had 512mb of memory and was over $1000 dollars, it had no VGA outputs and had a HUGE resolution.

Nope, the X800 nor the X850 (the fastest ATI has to offer at the moment) are the fastest cards on the market. GigaByte has produced an NVidia based card which outperforms anything else for less than what either NVidia or ATI have to offer at the moment. Here's some articles to read:

I never said that it was the fastest on the market. Fastest as far as home users would go and as the two customers go, obviously it is not the fastest beacause Ati's FireGL is faster. Most people are not going to spend $1,300 on a video card.
