100% CSS Dropdown Menus

I've always liked drop down menu's but I hate bulky and complicated javascript code.. I tried many diffrent scripts to get one to work on phphq.net.. I found a simple one but it didn't work in anything but IE. Infact it messed up the whole page in any other browser.. I tried other scripts but they seemed to want to change the layout of my whole page or only allow the menu at the top of the page..

Untill I came across a site that was experimenting with the css hover value. And volla, with layers etc css drop down menus with little or no javascript is possible (And work on IE, Opera, Netscape, Firefox or any other css2 capable browser. Which is what 98% of the web surf with. The only browser that requires special javascript is IE, HA.. that's a first, at least it's a very simple and non-bulky javascript. This same concept works with image rollovers and hover text etc. Bye bye bulky scripts for that now simple stuff.

I found this at: http://www.alistapart.com/articles/dropdowns/ and with a few hours and few headaches (I'm not caught up on css yet) I had a working drop down menu on phphq.net, that looks like javascipt, but it's (if your using anything other then IE) 100% CSS. I think it looks great, and i'm very excited to learn more like this.

I have Netscape, Firefox, Opera and IE installed at the moment and it works with them all. The only way I found it dosen't work is if you disable javascript in IE. I have to make a fix for that one..

Just incase anyone is interested..
