i notice in the game folder there is a update folder in it?

i was thinking its a bad install update?
game runs ok ether online or offline

update may not have gone bad....

It may have downloaded and applied the update and then the update script just may not have properly cleaned out those additional files.

I would say that as long as every thing is working fine, and your able to play in all the servers that have updated then the update was successful.
