BHD won't load after update

I just clean installed my XP desktop and installed BHD. Worked great first couple of times until i ran the update. Now when i run BHD the Menu screen appears, and when i click on Start BHD another Menu screen appears over the top semi-transparent and hangs. The title bar says Delta Force v1.0.0.5 and after awhile says not responding. I don't want to clean install again to run this but don't know what else to do.

download the update manually you need to do sometime NL-Auto update break off and game will not workout after.

Delta Force: Black Hawk Down
update can be found here: http://www.novahq.net/?show=utilitie...et_file&id=211

only a fair warning if you try the NO-Cd Patch; don't use it in Novaworlds-Stats Servers one can get banned for using it.

Thanks for your reply, I updated using the updater the first time then downloaded the update manually off the support site with no luck. Im downloading the update you suggested. I thought a bad CD was to blame so i installed it on my Acer Aspire One, and it loaded after install into the graphics card setup. So i don't know if my problem is a graphics issue, my drivers are up to date and my system hasn't changed since i played it.

Yeah everything is up to date. I have uninstalled it several times and even cleaned the registry incase anything got left behind. And sometimes installation hangs for a minute 99% after the first Novalogic splash screen. I attached a screen shot, normally the dialog box is coloured and has the menu.

I have the reail box version. The screen shot shows what i get everytime i run the game, no error messages just a blank or unresponsive menu box. Directx is up to date also.

I ended up installing XP on another HDD and only installing BHD and chipset, viedo and audio drivers and it worked, BUT after i shut down my system and restarted the next day i get a sysdump.txt error. Maybe i should have just kept the PS2 version so i can give up on this. Thanks for the help anyway.

if you turn it off and load back up and the game no longer run sounds like something gone bad when it was shut down

open RUN> type in: chkdsk /C
type Y-yes to next bootup

as the system loads up will scan the HHD for error before you get the log-in screen

/C-default if its another HHD letter F
