on the skull
Image > adjustments > levels
and make the darker bits black?

i dunno how it would work, but justa suggestion

Thanks guys....I know what u mean Stevie...when I changed it to green (it was redish-orange) I over did it on the levels adjustment.....and actually it looks darker on my monitor than it does on my monitor at work...must be lightness setting on my home monitor......I'll fix it tonight....
