looking for info on boot-scan the system do make it enable

had my system do a scan when it boot-up.

i seen a white bar at bottom of screen when it first starts to boot backup? do any one know how to make it enable? to do the scan as it boot-up.

don't get this mix-up with scandisk not the same.

the screen is black with a long whitebar running from bottom of screen flashing as it scan when the system starts up. this run all the time ether after one has turn the system off or restart the system.

i don't remember how i had it set to do the scan or what it was call, like to set it back to do the scan
