HOW DO YOU GET THE BAD GUYS TO SHOW UP ON THE COMMANDERS MAP LIKE THEY DID IN DF1 AND 2?

You have to give them a certain color in the mission editor for the commander's map. I don't think you can set it so all bad guys show like in the old games, unfortunately.

dashie thanks for the reply, i could'nt remember how to do that. (what were we talking about?) oh ya nice weather here in florida.

No problem. My response kind of stunk - to expand on that a bit: I think it's called "Spin map Color Override" in the item attributes for the item. I usually set it to "red" for enemies, and all enemies on the spin map are red.

What you would do is:

1) Make sure insert mode is off
2) Click the bad guy you want to make display on the map
3) Click on the item information in the bottom left corner
4) Change the "Spin Map Color Override" in the bottom left corner to whatever color you want
5) Click OK

Think that should do it. It's 90 degrees and kinda cloudy here - haha. Been to Florida once and I want to go back.
