dont trust ebay with phones.. sellers fail to mention half the time if its locked to a network or not, or they do sneaky things like having the phone around £160, and then nearly 20 or 40 p&p

there is a few places u can get great deals.... with a catch (kind of)

places like http://www.e2save.com/ - part of carphone warehouse - offer incredible deals like 6 upto 15 month free line rental and generally free phones (latest models).

the 'catch' is that it is done by redemption, so every 3 months or similar you have to send in your bill and then they refund your money.

a heck of a lot of people use this company and very few ppl have a problem. as long as you send in your bills in time then things are ok.

seeing as it's part of carphone warehouse u can feel a bit safer.

when you get your plan buy like the cheapest crappiest phone they got ... so then they give u the SIM card...

then just go on ebay and buy a nicer one (also alot cheaper) then just swap out the sim card and your good to go

The first job I ever had was replacing flexible connectors on folding calculators.
Ever since then I have never trusted clamshell or sliding devices.

Got my mobile from ebay.

Very happy with it.

Using paypal is safer for buyers on ebay than for sellers.
Try to buy from sellers with high feedback.
Never buy expensive items from china,nigeria... etc...
Try to buy items from sellers in your country.
Ask the seller questions about the item if details are not provided before biding. (Working, damaged, all accessories)
Always take into consideration cost of P&P/insurance as well as the bid price.

Have the T230 and K700i like them alot, love ericsson, which I didnt in the first place, was a nokia man, but ericsson started making some real quality phones and i was soled for Ericsson ever since!

Got the K700i locked though with vodafone but im going to unlock it tomorrow if i have time

And posibly unbrand (flash) it later on aswell (this is a hell of a lot cheaper then getting an unbranded and unlocked phone in the first place, its also 100% leagal atleast in sweden, wont effect the garantie either and the best thing is that the network companies cant do a thing about it haha, not sure how it is in the rest of the world on the legal notice though, think it should be the same but dont know.)

I have to agree on it being very confusing, first having 25 crossed and then a monthly price of 25
