Well Counter-Strike you have poor graphics and when you die you have to wait till the next round/game and it gets slow when connecting to servers.

I tryed the New Counter-Strike beta for 1.6 and it has good graphics and you have a riot sheild. IT STILL SUCKS

I love df. its my fav past time. my friends play cs and ive played it once with them and i hated it. all i liked really was the grafitti tags and stuff

Its good if you can play as a team and not like DF where its more Gung Ho,In counterstrike you have to play as a team
otherwise its not worth playing.

DF you dont really need to play as a team If I could find a squad that did use proper team tactics I would join it.

Some I have joined Just run around as if they are playing UT or quake like a bunch of headless chickens.

BUT yes I agree with you I dont like CS that much, But I think I dont like it Because there is less freedom in the game not like DF.

cs *can* be fun at a small private lan with about 5-7 other friends
but IMO it completely sucks online (unlike bhd :-)
i haven't played it online since about 1,5 years, but from what i heard it's all about cheating and anti-cheat software... not much fun left i guess

and i'd generally say CS is just too predictable if you know the map and the few routes the other team can take
(but then again, that's with all team games... in bhd there's just more possibilities)

I have played once on CS, only one freaking kill. I hate CS.

I wasn't impressed when I played CS. I just found that I liked DF much better (I played DF first, so maybe that was the difference...I don't really know). Even Black Hawk Down I have fun w/despite the fact I can't play it online (videocard isn't that good...I get big slowdown if lots of things are going on around me and also sometimes on vehicle rides as well). I like figuring things out with the MED. That thing has already provided me w/a lot of entertainment, lol.

only kewl thing about CS that DF falls short of is the vast skins for cs and the large fan base. but if you would put DF Players VS CS players in a hybrid game of DF VS CS DF would own
