Laptop screen hinges

Hey guys,

Whenever I adjust the screen so that I can see it either falls back or closes on me which is extremely annoying. Is there anyway I can fix it or do I have to take to a repair shop?

if it is under warrenty, take it in. Trying to fix it your self may void the warrenty.

If it isn't well, I'll let some one else try and answer, lol... Maybe wedge pieced of paper in the hinges to create friction?

it should be simple to fix really download the service manual for your laptop and it will tell you how to take the thing apart

hopefully just the screws will need tightening up.
