HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (AP) -- Anna Nicole Smith, the former Playboy playmate whose bizarre life careened from marrying an octogenarian billionaire to the untimely death of her son, died Thursday after collapsing at a South Florida hotel, one of her lawyers said.
Smith, 39, collapsed and was unresponsive while staying at the Seminole Hard Rock Café Hotel and Casino, said the attorney, Ron Rake. She was rushed to a hospital.



"She checked in Monday at 8 p.m. as a guest. She was due to check out tomorrow," said Danielle Giordaano, a spokeswoman for the hotel.

seem weird is all.......no then at all about the time of death? only the time she would have been release from the hospital

Smith, 39, was found unconscious in her hotel room at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., according to television reports.

"She was obviously in distress," hotel President Michael Bloom told the Associated Press.

Smith didn't have her baby with her, but was accompanied by her husband and four others, including a nurse, Bloom said. Bloom said the hotel received a call from her nurse just after 1:30 p.m. requesting assistance. Five minutes later, hotel security and emergency medical technicians responded to her room and contacted local fire and rescue teams.

No cause of death was immediately available.

most playboy bunnys & playmate center fold they seem to go on the deep end most of time die from drinking or drugs related, they can't handle life to good. i know one personnel (bunny lynn die 1994 do to drinking to much big time) and Anna Nicole Smith as will too been watching the news release about her. not shock about the drug bet at all. people hit the deep end turn to something to left them up (cheap feel) only it too much for the body to handle.

she was marry for many years and she leech on to his money after he die, but still she was the old goats wife for many years then the old goat die of old age, she in turn fool around with a lot with that money! she had other leeches on to her for the money as will after a time she lost the money the leeches ran off to other to leech more money from. she lost boy who die and her own life as will, but before she die she left the world with a new born baby girl at lease her life was not a total waste.

as for troopers die and serving this great country it a job! so we the people can look like fools with freedom to do so.

you can only milk so much then it drys up for good.

it is sad anna could have done better for her self and may other but it was about anna she dead best let it stay that way.

the court system will still spend the Tx-payer money on case with her little girl and so call men of her life! they still trying to milk what every they can out of her! even after death they still going to go that ghostly money tree.
