MED and Windows XP

I downloaded the supposed fix for the editor to use with XP and it still does not work! Anybody know how to fix this damn thing so I can edit my own missions. XP is really starting to piss me off, seems like you have to patch or fix all the progies out there to get them to work with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Download the right one, and make sure you put it in your DF:LW folder. That's what we have been telling people for a long time and it works almost every time. Try that.

I figured it out about an hour after I posted this, thanks anyway. When I opened it it asked if I wanted to replace the file that already existed, I clicked yes and assumed that it deleated the old file and replaced with the new file but it didn't it just added the new one, so I was trying to open the wrong file. Works now .thanks.
