Secondhand Lions

For those of you (like myself) who thought it was a kid movie, it's not. I liked it better than a few of the last movies I've seen.

Best Part: There's a few I like when Hub tells the boyfriend they can be friends or enemies. I also liked the part where they show the plane crashed into the barn upside down.


Elf

I must say, that was the biggest waste of time since trying to talk to AOL help. Not only was it not funny, it was riddled with bad acting, a stupid script, and ugly people.

Best Part: When I took it back to Blockbuster for a different movie.


The Day After Tomorrow

Typical doomsday flick, with the typical b.s. about global warming, blah blah blah. Movies with agendas suck.

Anyway, dumb script, the only two saving points about the whole movie was Dennis Quaid being the only actor there that knows how to act, and the kick arse special effects (except the dogs...I could do better cgi than that). Of special note, the kid who played the son shouldn't have gotten his paycheck. He's the most arrogant actor I've seen in years.

Best Part: New York freezing, helis freezing, anything freezing
