Problems hosting a server

hi its been a long time since i last played bhd.and have decided to start playing with a few clan m8,s.the problem comes when i try to host from my home pc .every one can see server and all info in pinger but its red and no one can join
ive contacted my ISP which is talk talk and they told me to go into my router and tick a box and submit and that open the game ports .but surprise surprise it doesn't work.and now all they say is to contact the game vendor to resolve the issue . so do any of you out there had same problem and been able to sort it let me know

You may need to go to your router and section called port forwarding and open up port 17479 UDP for the local ip of the machine acting as the server. Also check firewalls you may have as this too may block the ports required, once this is done you should be good to go.
