hosting and playing
Ok so Christmas morning my Moden has a melt down. went to my ISP store and they gave me a new one.. after 4 days of trying to configure it so other players can join.. its back on line.. Now with the game (DFX2)in the server computer and me trying to join (from my Computer) i am always stuck on "enmurating session" I was able to join with last modem but not with this new High tech one... what do i need to do to join?

try changing the port setting of your server to one addres down, sounds like your new modem has a firewall and is blocking the traffic shared on the same port by differing internal ip addresses. I do the same on my own server EG joint ops port 32768 to 32767 instead.
This is also good if you want to use two machines on a lan, for the same reason.
