Hi all,
Just curious about RW. Do you all use it from time to time. Does RW take alot of cpu time at server side? at client side?
Does it work? Delay? Quality OK?

Just checkin the pro and cons.

best thing u could do would be just try it to see how it goes. i think it does use minimal resources and bandwidth, i use it with modem and its fine.

@ *PR* weve been using TeamSpeak for a while, i think this is better personally. we have it setup on a server and there are different rooms ( maybe u can do this on RW i dunno )

there is the default where u go when u log in
general- normal chatting
df2 red
df2 blue
dflw red
dflw blue
ghost recon 1 blue
gr 1 gold
gr2 blue
gr2 gold

so what ever game ur playing u can always contact ur team.

they are useful aslong as long as u have someone to talk with. certainly a lot faster than typing " hey m8 there is someone sneaking up behind u trying ti knife u..." lol oops

depending on connection u do lose some of the speach but i find it ok on modem so faster connection than that would have nop worries at all.

Roger Wilco is ok but if host channel it lags a bit if on 56k. Is fun in team games and saves typing

Teamspeak is the best
TAW Uses it and it doesnt use alot of resources
lots better than RW

Well u know I had always used RW until I joind M@A squad. They were all using Team Sound. I never liked it. I do agree with u though RW does use some system resources. But unfortunately I like it better.

go to http://www.pr-base.com

then click the 2nd link which should be *PR* Base or predators base or something like that.

then go to GR files on the left ( bottom)

then on the right there is various chat progs. u will see Teamspeak, the download contains server and client software

I wish I knew how to check that bro but dont know how. I do know it does use some serious resourses. But I personally like it better than the Team speak. Hope someone can help u with this one bro.

i dont think is uses much at all. they are made to be used with other programs running so i think they will use very little resources
