Cheat Problem Solved

Hey All!

I've come across a very interesting article in PCFormat Magazine about Battle.net taking measures to stop on line cheating. According to this article, Battle.net have bannned 131,000 Diablo2 players, 12,000 WarCraft3 accounts and have suspended 7,000 CD keys! Battle.net have also permanently banned over 1,000 CD keys! Could Nova logic do the same to prevent cheating on their Delta Force titles? Or does anyone think this is a far to extreme measure to take?

it's fine IMO, but Nova must state that they will do it in the license that u should read before u install the game.

the prove without doubt that that player was cheating.

May be i got lost some place but dose NL do that it is posted on thier NW log-in screen down the bottom were all the servers of NW is listed under: User Agreement And also they talk about: Rules of Conduct in there they do talk about it.

don't get me worng i do agreement it should be in the booklet or the agreement when we instill the game you know Yes to these agreedment lic bet we all click-on Yes or No

the zip-file has their agreement & rules in it way to long to post up they are save as web pages 2ea

these are the same one we see after we log-in to NW down the bottom of that page.

as for them delete user yea for DF: LW,TFD,BHD i do beleave they been doing that banning players for cheating when they get a cheater report on a player they are (think) Voted out by number of reports they get in.

for fake or copy of the game they have to do research for.

only game i think they don't do anything with is DF: 1 & 2 they are old games

Hi,

We've discussed cheating on these baords many times but I don't think they will ever be able to stamp it out completely! Some folks will do it just because they can unfortunately.

will NL using a Voting system were players do Cheater report best part its working check the hall of sharm in there you see cheaters being bann from NW.

only works in were players have accounts.I have to say it is working great see very small amount of cheaters in these games: DF:LW,DF:TFD,DF:BHD area.

but you going to see them thats life a joker going to check the web find cheats to use not knowing it will void out their accounts. ref; DF:3,DF:4,DF:5.

Bad part DF1 & DF2 are not cover by the Vote system there is no banning going on at all in these 2-game area.wish it was but thats life.
