Confused Object Editor? Help pls!

I am a newbie to editing, but I have managed to make a few maps, often using complex sequences of events. I have figured out almost everything about Med, but I have a sneaking suspicion that a user can make and edit 3d objects? I downloaded a map (cant remeber where from) where there were 'super soldiers' in it that looked like abomanable snowmen. As these are not listed anywhere under 'Insert objects' I assume the user made them himself. Is there an editor? or do you write scripts for objects and convert them to whatever type of file Delta force uses? If so, could someone please explain the process to me? I have made a mission that is quite comlplex and involves a beach invasion with a number of other troops, however I have decided I would like to replace the zodiacs with some kind of bigger barge, perhaps to make this, it could use the same physics model and sound as the zodiac?
Thank you to anyone who can help.

Sadly, you cannot make your own objects. The thing you saw is known as a yeti. Go to your DF:LW folder, make a shortcut to your misson editer on your desktop, then right click and go to properties, In the target box it should say somthing like
"C:\Program Files\NovaLogic\Delta Force Land Warrior\Dflwmedc.exe" (with the Quotes)
Change that to
"C:\Program Files\NovaLogic\Delta Force Land Warrior\Dflwmedc.exe" /showall (with a space before /showall). Then you will have more objects to use.

Or you can always download the updated med if that dosen't work for you. The Win2k/XP and 98/ME versions are both in the DF:LW utilities section.
Enjoy!

Hey panther I dont know why. But in Win XP pro I cannot get the med. to work period. When I try to open it it says its not responding and then says sent or dont send. I cant figure out the problem. but it sure is annoying.
