Yep, I can do everything from file transfer, KAZAA, Team Speak, adn just about everything else I have tried EXCEPT host any DF game, DFLW and BHD included.

Well try e-mailing the NL Tech support. They've helped me and I think would help you too

Cool

You have to go and get the firmware update at the dlink support site version 2.1.18 or higher and enable pnp. Then it will work fine without opening ports. Mine is up and going.

Got the latest firmware and all, and yet it still wont host. Oh well, I just unplug my router if I host.

I don't know how much you know about the DI-604 but mine and two of my friends work great after the firmware upgrade was loaded. had to use the advance setup in the browser connected to the router to upload the firmware. Once the router rebooted the default settings were set so that it worked without modifing anything except password. I have been able to host 16 players without any lag. you might want to check that the firmware uploaded the last page of the setup interface show current firmware version.

Are you running Static or DHCP on your ISP?

Are you running Static or DHCP on your LAN?

When you say you can not host...

Do you mean:
1 You cant bee seen on nova
2 You can bee seen but people cant join
3 when hosting you never connect to nova

You should be able to host very easy with a DMZ setup but your ping will be unknown.

You must use 17479 for your ping to show.

I had this running fine on my linksys router. went out and bought a D-Link 614 wireless and had it up and running in 5 min as well.

My ISP is DHCP and my lan is setup static with 3 pc's
