Custom Win Conditions?

Is there any way to create custom win condition/goal texts?

The drop down menu / combo box when editing "General Information" is extremely limited.

For example, I want the goal to read "Destroy all chemical containers" as this is one of the objectives I've created, but that is not available. The best I can do is edit the WAC file to display that text as though it was in the MP chat... but this is a temporary solution and for those currently playing in the map.

If some one were to join a MP game and wanted to view the goals AFTER that text had displayed, they'll have no idea what needs to be destroyed in order to complete that sub goal.

Hi there, this is a problem repeatedly asked by all mappers once they advance a bit.

I don't know a heck of lot about MP configurations but generally a bin file is used for custom objectives, ai names, location names, waypoint names etc. but on a lot of servers the bin can fail to work.

I have a non-dedicated server where the game itself is hosting.

It's a pity it's not a dedicated server app, novalogic retired that years ago.

Anyway the server runs 24/7 from New York and they don't seem to work for me.

Although...

I've seen bin commands in the WAC.

It's a matter of finding the syntax out.
I know you can change AI names in it but as for anything else I don't really know.

I do know some long serving members here know about internal variables and server tricks and scripts, so maybe they also know how to implement this for you.
