Duke Nukem Forever Demo http://www.fileplanet.com/210966/210...rever-Demo?r=5

stupid one by activision and infinity ward

Quote:
After months of waiting and countless petitions, both Activision and Infinity Ward have lifted the lid on dedicated servers that are on the way to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. While it can't be said that the IW.net service was a massive failure, the complaints of rubber banding, host migration, game lobby issues, and countless other issues finally pushed Activision to give in to the players' requests.

"We have not been ignoring your complaints," Community Manager Robert Bowling made in a press release. "We have actually had dedicated servers ready to be released since last November at the game's launch."

"The goal of IW.net was to provide a safe, reliable gaming environment that provided a smooth and cheat free environment. We would like to take this opportunity to apologize to everyone for failing to deliver on any of these goals."

A recent Tweet by 402, Robert Bowling, shed a bit more light on just when we could expect these dedicated servers to be released. However, in typical PR fashion a straightforward answer was not given, only a cryptic binary code was provided: 010000010111000001110010011010010110110000100000
011001100110111101101111011011000111001100100001.

We got our co-worker really good today, we had him convinced that Iran nuked Isreal. We also had him convinced that googled really had changed it's name to topika. I forwared topika.com to google.com in our DNS server which really had him wondering why they would do such a stupid thing because Google is such a well known name.

He's so gullible. Twice in one day.
