i got a Video card PCI its like 9400s ATi

i found it not to good running from a PCI slot its hangs a lot running heave 3d graphic games on!

Windows Xp Pro Dell computer and i try it barebone kit i build up (barebone computer system high end) to use PCIe 16x in one of many PCI slots as will trying to be cheap about it. i think PCI type video cards are most part good for office type of work station's.

will that's my take on PCI video cards, i found later i had to get a PCIe video card type to run any highend video game off on.

PCI slots are slower data feed then VGA/ PCIe 16x slots

i don't know if there a video card that will fit into a PCIe 1x if there a opening for one it better data feed then a PCI stander slot. never try it ether

Lol Chief's more of a talker.

have you ever been to newegg before?

http://www.newegg.com/Store/SubCateg...cs-Video-Cards

Now I don't know what slots you have, with something that old you're either going to have an AGP slot to work with or a regular PCI slot. You may already know that.

Now in the link I provided, on the left hand side, filter out "Interface" to the one you're going to use.

This GT430 is pretty powerful by PCI standards but your Celeron CPU may bottleneck it. $70
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814500221

Meanwhile this Geforce 8400 should do just fine on your Celeron without getting bottlenecked and run BHD at full settings. $50
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814133364

This Radeon 9250 is only $5 cheaper than the 8400 and may run BHD just fine. $45
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814161010

If you try to go any cheaper you'll be seeing cards that can't even do DirectX 9.0.

i was only trying to point out that running a hardcore game like DFBHD on an Video card PCI type will be very hard. i try it it was not that great

AGP slot or PCIe 16x slot work really good with the game DFBHD.

i try it found out not so good video card pci type with DFBHD, will best of luck to you.

will need to know what type of computer tower (case) you have to match a mother broad to it.

mother broads has open to screw to the computer case

sample my is med-tower MTX type case (medium large)

if you still have to paper work on that computer case? it maybe listed on paperwork or the make and model of the mother broad that is in it be a big help we can search see what type of computer case it was made to fit into then maybe search for a newer mother broad that match the screw hole to fit the case mother broad mounting

1.) mother broad model and make that is in it now
2.) type of computer case (computer tower) model number (if not mother broad make and model to replace)
one or two above optional

other i found mother broad maybe PCIe or AGP on it maybe fit your computer case iffy not 100% on it

source: http://electronicj.ecrater.com/p/322...orhp-pavilion#

don't know how great they are!

if you can call before placing a order with them (ecrater.com) or seek a local computer repair-shop see if they can upgrade your computer mother broad with a newer one! they maybe stuck with! could be a lot cheaper then.

some times a local computer repair shop have older mother broads from like 2002-2006 mother broad seating there for super long time. that may fit your tower case

Your best bet is to take it back. Contrary to what was mentioned... you might be able to play BHD on a PCI video card.

If you replace the motherboard you're going to have to replace the memory, processor, power supply and possibly your case. If you're going to do that you might as well go buy a better video card while your at it.

I am pretty sure a PCI Geforce 6200 will play BHD fine. I had a crappier video card and it worked alright. They're around $70 whereas the new system would be at least $600

I've seen an old HP Laptop play it in low res.
It had a similar Integrated Intel Chipset.
Your motherboard has No AGP Slot only a PCI type and cards for PCI that might do it are the old voodoo series
PCI-based cards.

You need a PCI not PCIe card
