If this was in the 19-95 yeah sure. We are no different from any other country. There is no need to be selfish to say that we are a free country, when there are alot more democracies out there. Great Britian, France, Canada, Germany, Im not going to name them all. and I dont want to get in a debate, I have 3 uncles that were in the militairy, I think they are pretty cool. Alls Im saying is nock off the freedom crap.

Just an interesting point, i suspect this post will come back to haunt me somehow.

Australia and Great Britan arent true democracy's the leaders in these countrys The Head of State (The Queen) and the Head of Government (Tony Blair and John Howard for GB and AUS respectively) arent directly elected by the people the Monarch is heareditary and The voters elect the PARTY to government then the party chooses the head of government.

That being said these two countrys are two of the best in the world!
