JO Website Contest
From Novalogic
Calabasas, CA — 6/4/2004 – NovaLogic today announced a contest to find out who can build the best Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising Fan Site in the US. Call for entries start on July 1 st and end July 30 th , 2004 . A check for $500 is up for grabs for the first place winner, as well as other prizes including signed copies of the game, posters and exclusive Joint Ops merchandise. All fan sites entered in the contest will also be up for a special Community Award, as voted by NovaWorld community members World Wide. Websites will be judged on originality, design layout, functionality and content. Full rules and regulations will be announced on July 1 st, but in the mean time NovaLogic has released a ‘Web Design Kit’ containing specific art assets from the game, to help people get started. The Web Design Kit can be downloaded from www.jointopsthegame.com. Assets in the kit include screenshots, vehicles, characters, weapons, logos and box art. In addition to the US contest, a European Fan Site Contest will also run in parallel for budding designers in Europe. All winners will be announced in early August and their sites will be given full recognition as ‘Official Joint Ops Web Sites’, with special logos and promotion on www.novalogic.com and www.novaworld.com. |

hmm it's probably not as hard as you think.

id like to know if theres any easy tools for making websites? Like the idea of freewebs except more advanced? and easy 2 use? lol

i use dreamweaver but frontpage does the same kind of thing aswell.

design view coders views and one thats both use the designers view *edit - dreamweaver |

building it is no problem. populating it with content and keeping it alive is the thing.
what they're looking for is the next dfhq, dfbarracks only for j-ops. which means team work.

With this new web design kit, anyone can make a kick ass JO website.
Hopefully I will be able to enter... if I'm not able to, I'll be a little ticked off
