Ghost recon 1 style SP mods for anything?

I just got back my infatuation with OGR's singleplayer again, yea its OLLLDD but I miss the unforgiving gameplay with RPG style attribute upgrades and once you lose someone theyre gone forever. Are there any mods out there that bring that forumula back for any game?
