Nvidia's 3D vision discover for FREE

when I went to installed the latest 3D vision drivers, it disregarded my 3D IR receiver and went ahead and assumed I had 3D vision discover.

now to clarify

3D vision = stereoscopic shutter glasses $150
3D vision discover = Red and Blue lensed cardboard cutout glasses priced at $50

What i'm trying to get at is, I don't think you need to have spent $50 for the ability to install and use red and blue lensed glasses. If anyone by chance happens to have:
-Red and Blue 3D glasses for anything, doesn't have to have Nvidia's stamp of approval
-A video card that meets Nvidia's 3D requirement specs

please go to:
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

and download the 3D vision drivers because I want to know if its possible to get it for free rather than spend $50 for it.

as far as I know, not for the red/blue lenses setup.

you need a 120hz display for the stereoscopic shutter glasses.

That's what they say... All to make money.. If they sell some cardboard items for $50 bucks it's nothign more then a bloody ripoff.. Production costs of those things are a quarter cup of rice and a nickel..
