Skinner and Modeler that can Edit 3di Files |

I can skin and model, but I'm not going to do a mod for BHD since I'm already working on a mod for DFX with my squad.
Listen, go to sites like txpgone3d.com and dfreload.com where they'll have mod tuts I've made and other people have made. You can't edit .3di files too. You can re-skin them however. Duplicate them, give them a different name, then run a hex editor on the .3di and change the texture path. For example, your .3di you extracted is called House01.3di, if you want to make it a different item, rename it House02.3di, then open the .3di up with a hex editor, and change its name inside the file to House02, then change its texture from e.g. Wood01.tga to Wood02.tga, and then create an ITEMS.DEF entry for it. Note that items in DF games identify textures as TGA format - they're actually DDS. When models are made in DF games they start off as TGA in the object editor, but in the game they're eventually made into DDS files.

And another reason why I don't want to mod for BHD is because nobody cares about mods for it anymore. Hell, in fact, nobody cares about any DF mod anymore.
But good luck with the mod, mate. Oh, and just some mod advice. It's kinda not good to skin existing items in a mod, because when it's released, if mappers wanted UN trucks, there wouldn't be UN trucks - only Nazi trucks. Anything you skin, you could consider re-skinning them (re-skinng = duplicating item + skinning it = totally new item).

Alredy done, i copyed the Reasource.pff (unedited) to a folder that Says Unedited and then the Reasource.pff (Edited) to a folder that says edited so if i want to change for Online Play i just copy the Unedited to the Novalogic Directory but thatnks for the Tip anywayz!

I know a more better way that'll save way more space.
Usually when you make mods for BHD, you make a folder in your directory called "mod", and then you make your own custom .pff called e.g. "test.pff", and you add any mod files into that .pff. Then, you duplicate your DFBHD shortcut and in the target line of it in Properties, you put at the end (for example): "C:\Games\NovaLogic\Delta Force Black Hawk Down\dfbhd.exe" /mod test test is the name for your .pff. So you have a shortcut that will execute your mod, and a shortcut that won't execute your mod. When you play online, run the shortcut that doesn't execute the mod. Simple as that. You can have as many mod .pffs in your DFBHD folder and not get banned, just as long as the shortcut you run does not have the mod parameters on the target line. So now you'll have two shortcuts: - Delta Force Black Hawk Down - Delta Force Black Hawk Down MOD

The only game that I'd use to duplicate for a mod would have to be DFX, since that game doesn't support the mod/expansion folder system like JO and BHD does.

Chrispy Quoted:And another reason why I don't want to mod for BHD is because nobody cares about mods for it anymore.
That's not true, cuz if nobody cared for any DF or BHD mods, then I'M a nobody, so if u have a mod and the instructions for it, i'll download it!
